IS YOUR PENDRIVE SECURE ?? If u are not sure check this out and learn it in a simplest way.

Can you Stop your PEN DRIVE'S from getting unwanted files???? "NO" is your answer if i'm not wrong. We are living in a busy world where we hate to carry bunch of papers or files containing data , instead we store data by copying them in Pendrive's . Well !!! actually its a myth saying that most of the world's corporate citizen's prefer Pendrive's as a source to carry or save data instead of saving it on their system's . Sometimes there comes a situation that you must take some data from your fellow being's and you have no idea how safe is your Pendrive after giving it to them .



Mark my words telling you that none of you are aware about the viruses entering into your PC's and Laptop's from your Pendrive's .Sometime's your system gets into a danger of being destroyed.






 SO ... If you have a desire to protect your USB from getting unwanted files i.e. virus, worm, spy, Trojan etc than you are at the right place reading this .
What I’m gonna tell you is that how to setup your registry to end a computer from saving files to your USB (It’ll block all of them)
If you contain windows XP with SP2, widows 7 then you can immobilize the writing option to USB drives. This trick is very helpful if you have virus in your computer and desire to copy files from a USB Drive but don’t desire to transfer virus to the USB. Follow the given steps to disable the USB writing option:

TO TURN ON THE DEFENCE:  

Open notepad and copy and paste the following:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlStorageDevicePolicies]

“WriteProtect”=dword:00000001

Now keep the file with the extension “.reg”.

Click on the file you presently saved. In the pop-up window chose YES and then OK.

That’s it your USB is now sheltered

TO TURN THE DEFENCE OFF:
 

Open notepad and copy and paste the following:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlStorageDevicePolicies]

“WriteProtect”=dword:00000000

Now put aside the file with the extension “.reg”.

Click on the file you presently saved. In the pop-up window click YES and then OK.


That’s it your defense is now disabled.


CONCLUSION:


Finally its you who has to decide to be secure because even students and high school graduates have the fear of sharing their Pendrive's with their buddies . They run hours and hours of scan in their PC's to get rid of the viruses in their Pendrive's and some give - up by formatting their Pendrive's . So by following the above trick your can be safe with your Pendrive's and there are 2 ways of using them .........



BULLET ------- It is prone to viruses and malware attack's if you are not secure with it  ....



CHOCOLATE-----It is secure and you feel free to use it  as you wish ..........




     Don't be lazy , just be crazy by choosing your Pendrive to be as a Bullet or a Chocolate .
